Freshly Dead It was a night so dark, so cold, so stormy, that as she lifted her hand in front of her face, it could not be seen. Around her there were trees; bare, dark, and creaking. The wind howled, sounding almost like the wolves in the distance. An uneasiness spread over her as she took one trembling step, another, another… Forever it seemed to go on.
